Welcome to the Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program was launched by El-Rayes Foundation. The Foundation is autonomous and has no affiliation with any political, religious or philosophical group.

In Egypt, poverty leads thousands of children into child labor to help support their families. This program main objective is to prevent child labor in Egypt. It helps feed children from low-income families and pays for their tuition and school books. It offers the opportunity for these children to have an education and a better quality of life.

MISSION

The mission of the Program is to service two purposes:

1. To give the opportunity to children from low income families to go to school.

2. To make them aware of the importance of volunteering to serve their communities and to promote acts of kindness in their communities.

The recipients of the scholarships will initiate the Egyptian Random Acts of Kindness Movement.

The Scholarship Program is unique in its delivery and transparency. It acknowledges the scholarship donor by naming the scholarship in his/her name and gives the donor the choice of being in direct contact with the scholarship recipient.
